The Bucket List

Everyone should have a bucket list whether it lives in their head, scribble on a napkin, type in Excel, store in their phone, or evidence in a blog. Here’s my list in progress and in no particular order. Check for updates as I continually breathe life into it.
  • Run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain
  • Sit front row at a Jung Ji Hoon (a.k.a. Bi Rain) concert
  • Drink tea at the Huashan Teahouse in Shaanxi Province, China (near Xi’an)
  • Stay at the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden to experience the Northern Light
  • Enjoy a meal, that could ultimately be my last, of tiger fugu (the filet mignon of blowfish) at Mukoujima Hashimoto in Tokyo, Japan
  • Paragliding over Neuschwanstein Castle (the inspiration for Walt Disney’s fairy tale castle) near Fussen, Germany
  • Scream “I’m the King of the world” from the outdoor observation deck of Burj Khalifa (currently the tallest building in the world) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • Participate in a flash mob
  • Snorkel in the clear blue water of Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles
  • Being serenaded to on a gondola ride through the canals of Venice, Italy
  • Watch the sunrise in a hot air balloon 5,000 feet above the ruins in Bagan, Myanmar
  • Watch the sunset on the cliffs of Oia, Santorini, Greece
  • Dine 16 feet below sea level at the Ithaa Undersea Restaurant in Malé, Maldvies
  • Dance the forbidden dance, the tango, at a local milonga in Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • Travel faster (almost) than a speeding bullet via a magnetic-levitation train, Maglev Train, in Shanghai, China
