Everyone should have a bucket list whether it lives in their head, scribble on a napkin, type in Excel, store in their phone, or evidence in a blog. Here’s my list in progress and in no particular order. Check for updates as I continually breathe life into it.
- Run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain
- Sit front row at a Jung Ji Hoon (a.k.a. Bi Rain) concert
- Drink tea at the Huashan Teahouse in Shaanxi Province, China (near Xi’an)
- Stay at the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden to experience the Northern Light
- Enjoy a meal, that could ultimately be my last, of tiger fugu (the filet mignon of blowfish) at Mukoujima Hashimoto in Tokyo, Japan
- Paragliding over Neuschwanstein Castle (the inspiration for Walt Disney’s fairy tale castle) near Fussen, Germany
- Scream “I’m the King of the world” from the outdoor observation deck of Burj Khalifa (currently the tallest building in the world) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Participate in a flash mob
- Snorkel in the clear blue water of Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles
- Being serenaded to on a gondola ride through the canals of Venice, Italy
- Watch the sunrise in a hot air balloon 5,000 feet above the ruins in Bagan, Myanmar
- Watch the sunset on the cliffs of Oia, Santorini, Greece
- Dine 16 feet below sea level at the Ithaa Undersea Restaurant in Malé, Maldvies
- Dance the forbidden dance, the tango, at a local milonga in Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Travel faster (almost) than a speeding bullet via a magnetic-levitation train, Maglev Train, in Shanghai, China
